What I'll give Porter is that he doesnt really make any mistakes....but that's the only thing he's good at, well that and he's decent on PK, but almost every player in NHL can kill penalties effectively if given the chance. He's very vanilla. |

I love this!!
I think we are lucky Dumo is so quietly good at what he does. Maatta is kinda underrated. Daley fit so well. Cole improved as the year went on. The pens defense may not but the most star studded but they definitely did their job and did it very very well. Anyone know the total blocked shots stat by the end of the playoffs? |

Anyone know who the clown is at the end who is "so sick of hearing about the Pittsburgh Penguins" and acts like he's throwing up? Capitals TV personality I'm guessing? |

Can't do it. Mantha should be on the top line to start the season. |

Yes, first line in Grand Rapids. So, AHL player for NHL bust? Sounds fair. |

Its cute to say Kevin Porter, a great college player, decent AHL player, but not so great NHL player should be on the defending Stanley Cup roster. However, you get disturbed when I say essentially Porter's value is basically that of Mantha's based on your organization's actions. Obviously the Detroit brass doesn't share your same opinion of Anthony right now. |

Hell no. They need to be keeping their early round picks at all costs. They need players on ELCs in the very near future. |

I see the Blue Jackets finishing last in the Metro.
I like Porter and I think he has a lot of heart. Good fourth liner who shows a nose for scoring than can surprise you. Most of all you get 100% effort every night. |

I fully appreciate how good Tatar is, but also understand he's a RFA after this year and is already making 2.75 mil. I would expect him to be 5+ a year on his next deal.
I wouldn't not do it because he isn't worth a 1st, I wouldn't do it because we have to pay or replace Dumo, Murray, Bones, Daley, Kunitz, Hornqvist and the slew of bottom 6 forwards that are playing up and down the lineup in the next two years. Those bottom 6 guys won't get huge raises, but some of them are going to be making around 2 mil a year. Our forwards are stacked already, I don't think we need to invest in another high priced forward. We need to start keeping some first round picks. |
